My name is Kristin Karr.  This is my 27^th year to teach and my 17^th at Idalou.  I teach Art, Theater, and Social Studies.  I love to paint and create and I love to see students learn and improve their artistic skills when going through my class.  I started my education as a painting major finishing with a Bachelors in Art History from the University of North Texas.  I went on to get my teachers certifications in Art and History from Texas Tech.  Originally from Fort Worth I met and married my husband Roger and moved to the land he loved growing up in Crosbyton 32 years ago.  We have  one daughter Shelybe who is a free lance illustrator and graphic artist continuing her education in Phoenix, Arizona for the next year.  My hope is alway to make student feel happy and safe as well as creatively free in my classroom.  If you need anything please make sure to email any time.
