I graduated from Shallowater High School in 1992.

I graduated from Texas Tech University in 1998.

My degree is in Multidisplinary studies and Exercise and Sports Science. I am certified to teach 1st-8th Grade. I also have an ESL certification.

This is my first year teaching first grade at Idalou. Second year at Idalou and 18th year to teach.

I started teaching at Shallowater Elementary, where I  taught kindergarten and first grade. Then I taught first grade and second grade at Roosevelt Elementary.

I married to Tanner Pounds and we have been married for 17 years. I have 2 boys, Gage a fifth grader and Gentry a third grader. They are so excited to be Wildcats!!
