This email is intended to provide you with the information we have received at this point from the Governor, the Commissioner of Education, and the Texas Education Agency. Open communication is a top priority of Idalou ISD, and this email will provide you some of the key information we have received at this point, as well as an opportunity to provide feedback.
Our plan is to start with “on campus” instruction on Wednesday, August 19th. With that said, we will also provide students with an option of remote learning. Remote learning is available for grades 3-12 but students enrolled in PreK, Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade must attend “on campus” instruction. Students enrolled in grades 3-12 that select remote learning will not be able to participate in extracurricular activities or attend school activities. We will provide you with more information soon.
